In the name above, [YYMMDD] stands for the current date (year, month, day, all 2-digit num-
bers) and [HHMMSS] for the current time (hours, minutes, seconds, all 2-digit numbers).
11.1.2 Editing a Sample (Hardware)
Press Button 2 to access the
EDIT
page. Here you can for example edit the start and end point
of the Sample and create a loop. The right display shows you the waveform of the Sample. Use
Knob 5 to zoom in on the waveform of the Sample and Knob 6 to navigate through it.
If your Sound contains more than one Sample, all your actions in the
EDIT
page will affect
the Sample of the Zone currently selected in the
MAP
page! See
for more info on selecting Zones in the
MAP
page.
The Sample can be played back at any time by pressing the corresponding pad on your control-
ler. When the Sample is played back, the Playhead indicator (vertical line) shows you the cur-
rent play position within the waveform on the right display.
The parameters available on the left display are spread over three pages. Use the Page buttons
on the left of the displays to select the desired page.
