Active Calls
: Displays the total number of active calls including phone calls, trunk calls,
voice mail calls, faxes etc. When you are viewing the active calls, you can refresh the screen
by pressing any button except the left arrow button.
•
Clear Alarm
: Clears the alarm message that displaced the idle menu.
•
Clear All Alarms
: Clears all system alarms.
•
Default Database
: Sends a command to Call Processing to default the database. After the
database is defaulted, the system automatically reboots. Note that this action will drop all
current calls.
•
Backup Database
: Sends a command to Call Processing to perform a database backup.
If the backup fails, the LCD displays
Error
.
•
ADD Freeze
: Sends a command to Call Processing to perform an ADD freeze operation. If
the operation fails, the LCD displays
Error
.
•
Gateway Mode
: Sends a command to Call Processing to configure the server as a Base
Server for use with a Processing Server. Call Processing performs a reset to complete the
operation. If the operation fails, the LCD displays
Error
.
•
Reboot
: Sends a reset command to Call Processing. Note that this action will drop all current
calls.
•
Shut Down
: Sends a shut down command to Call Processing. Note that this action will drop
all current calls. After a shut down you can restart the server manually by pressing the center
button.
When prompted to confirm your action, press the down arrow button to select
Yes
, or the
up arrow button to select
No
. Wait until the action is completed.
To complete an ADD freeze from the System Menu:
1.
From the idle menu (
MiVoice Office 250
), press the down arrow button to navigate to the System
menu, and then the ADD Freeze option.
2.
Press the center button to select the
ADD Freeze
option. The
Are You Sure?
prompt appears.
3.
Press the up arrow button to select
Yes
, and then press the center button to confirm your
selection. The ADD freeze request is sent to Call Processing and the

message is
displayed. Once the request has been sent the
Success
or
Error
message is displayed.

A
Success
message indicates that the request was sent successfully.
•
An
Error
message indicates that ADD has not been configured or enabled in DB Program
-
ming, or that a freeze is already in progress.
After approximately 10 seconds, you are returned to the System menu. The LCD Application
does not wait for the freeze operation to complete.
NOTE
If you select
No
, the ADD freeze is not completed and the LCD application returns to the
System menu.
