when swapping USB flash drives. So, if you need to remove a USB flash drive currently being
used for database saves or saving voice mail data, remove the device and
wait at least ten
seconds before inserting the other USB flash drive
. If you do not allow sufficient time for the
first device to unmount, the system might be confused as to which USB flash drive is actually
plugged into the system.
•
Use multiple folders for multiple applications:
It is possible to use one flash drive for database
saves, voice mail data saves, and software upgrades. However, be sure that all of the functions
are using different folders on the drive and are not resident at the root level. For example, the
folder you select for saving voice mail data automatically gets cleared prior to a save. So, if you
have everything at the root level or in the same folder, the software packages used for upgrading
will get deleted.
•
Supported flash drives:
The MiVoice Office 250 supports all popular USB flash drive sizes and
file systems (e.g., FAT 32 and NTFS). If you come across a USB flash drive that does not appear
to be compatible, report the details to Mitel Technical Support.
