to air. If someone accidentally changes a crosspoint on the Kaleido-X’s monitor wall, and the feed goes live,
the error could have serious consequences. To avoid such problems, it is desirable to give operators access
only to those crosspoints that they need by creating logical routers.
1. In the
Routers
pane, click the
Logical Routers
folder, then click
Add Router
under the
Router
Configurations
tab.
2. Under
Router Configurations > Configuratio
n, type a
Logical router name
(e.g.
“SmallLogicalRouter”). This is the name that will appear on the Kaleido-X monitor wall in the
Assign
[router] input
menu. Ignore
Logical router matrix ID
for now. Enter the number of sources and
destinations (e.g. 16 x 4):
IMPORTANT
: Once you have configured the logical router, it is important
not
to change its name.
Doing so will disable any settings that refer to the existing router name, including:
• channel assignments for source or destination label
