Description
Level category
A level category refers to a type of level. Examples of level categories are: video, audio, text,
alarm, and time code. A level category can contain multiple levels.
Level
A level is an instance of a level category. For example, within a channel, the video level
category may comprise different levels, each representing a specific physical part of a video
signal.
Source
When the Kaleido-X itself is configured as a router, the channels are considered as sources for
the “KX Router” logical router, whose destinations are either widgets on the monitor wall, or
BNC outputs on the KXO-24Router cards. Source IDs to be used for channel routing purposes
are assigned in the
Channels/Sources
tab. These IDs can be used by external router control
software or devices.
