5. In Save Layout, type a name for the new layout, and then click Save. Alternatively, you can replace an
existing layout with the new layout.
Assigning Channels to Widgets
To assign a channel to a widget:
1. Click the widget on the layout.
The widget’s boundary box appears.
2. Right-click the selected widget.
On the shortcut menu, point to Assign channel then click the appropriate channel.

Alternatively, select a channel from the Channels list, in the Tools pane, and drag it onto the
appropriate widget.
Note: You do not need to select the widget first, when using this method.
3. Repeat the procedure until all widgets have been assigned a channel.
4. On the File menu, click Save. Alternatively, click the Save button on the toolbar.
The active Layout is saved.
Selecting a Background Image for a Layout
To select a background image for a layout:
1. Click the Layouts tab, and open the layout whose background you wish to set.
2. Click the display background on the layout.
