6.3 RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MANUAL SETTINGS AND RS-232C COMMANDS
The RS-232C command directly sets maps to various manual settings on the MTS-1710. The MTS-1710
settings map is shown here with the blanks filled in with the corresponding three-letter command(s) which
control the particular setting. The actual command is shown underlined for clarity.
6.4 COMMAND REPEAT FACILITY
The last command can be repeated by using the ! (exclamation mark) character. This is particularly useful
for saving transmission time on commands used for sending fault data and waveform data.
Example 1: The following command sequence polls the MTS-1710 status five times.
