TRANSMISSION

[10] DISASSEMBLING TRANSMISSION CASE

(1) Hydraulic Pump Holder

Hydraulic Pump Holder

1. Tap out the 18T spiral bevel gear (4) with bearings.
2. Remove the shim (3) from pump holder (1).
3. Remove the bearing (5) using a puller.
4. Remove the external circlip (6) and bearing (7).

(When reassembling)

• Fill the transmission fluid to the hydraulic pump holder from the

window (2) before install the hydraulic pump holder assembly to
the transmission case.

NOTE

Q

• Check the backlash between 18T bevel gear (4) and 19T

bevel gear (refer to “6. SERVICING” in this section).
