Close the Acronis True Image program.

On the Processor Unit desktop, double-click the MF90 icon to start the program.

Creating a backup image using the boot application

A backup

image

is a very useful feature. It allows you to create and save a complete

copy of all the files on the Processor Unit. The software used is

Acronis True Image

. The

software is installed on the Processor Unit. It is also copied onto the USB flash drive that is
provided with the MF90 system.

Prerequisites

The following items are required:

• Computer mouse

• Computer keyboard

• USB flash drive (Bootable)

• Optionally: USB hard disk

You need the bootable USB flash drive provided with the MF90 system. You can also
use any commercial USB flash drive. It must be formatted as a bootable device by the
Acronis True Image program. If you want to use the USB flash drive for the backup files
it must have the necessary storage capacity. We strongly recommend that you use a high
capacity and high speed USB flash drive. Avoid typical "give-away" USB flash drives
and commercial low budget types.

Tip

A complete backup requires a large data storage device. A standard USB flash drive may
not have the required storage capacity. You can then use a USB hard disk.

It is also possible to place the backup files on the second hard disk in the Processor Unit.
This is commonly identified as the "D" drive.

Independent of the chosen storage device, you will need the bootable USB flash drive.
