Restart the Processor Unit.

Restoring from a backup image using the desktop application

After the MF90 system was installed, you made a complete backup of the operating system,
all the installation files and the system configuration. This backup becomes crucial if you
experience software related problems and wish to restore the entire system.

Prerequisites

The following items are required:

• Computer mouse

• Computer keyboard

• Optionally: USB hard disk

A restore can only be made if the following criteria are met (intro):

• A valid backup created by the Acronis True Image desktop application exists.

• The backup is accessible on an internal or external hard disk.

Context

The desktop application offers the easiest way to do backup and restore operations. The
software used is

Acronis True Image

. This procedure refers to the following software

version: 20.0.

Procedure

If relevant: Close the MF90 program.

Select

Power off

to turn off the system.

In the

Power Off

dialog box, select

Exit to Operating System

to close

the MF90 program.

Connect the keyboard and the mouse to USB sockets on the Processor
Unit.

Select the desktop icon to start the Acronis True Image OEM program.

Open the

Backup

page.
