Differential pinion and differential pinion shaft
a. Measure the I.D. of the differential pinion and O.D.
of the differential pinion shaft.
b. Check the clearance by comparing the measure-
ment. If the clearance is outside the allowable
limit, replace the components with new ones.

a. Measure the inner diameter of the differential
case cover and the outer diameter of the differen-
tial side gear.
b. Check the clearance by comparing the measure-
ment. If the clearance is outside the allowable
limit, replace the components with new ones.
