5. REMOVAL
1. Position the machine in a place which makes it possible to use a lifting device for lifting of
disassembled assemblies.
WARNING! Before working at the machine, be sure that the blade and ripper have
been lowered to the ground, engine is OFF and brake is set. The starting switch
and the electrical system master switch are turned OFF, keys are removed and the
controls are tagged to prevent inadvertent engine starting.
2. Turn the electrical master switch to the „OFF” position.
3. Disassemble engine radiator as described in section 6 COOLING SYSTEM.
4. Disassemble rear doors and shields assembly on both side of engine compartment.
5. Disconnect the engine wire harness connectors (1, Fig. 12. 5). Unscrew the nut and remove
socket from the bracket. Disconnect the engine potentiometer control wire harness connector
(2) and engine speed sensor connector (6). Secure plugs and sockets against dirt and
damage.
NOTE: One of the two engine wire harness connectors is located behind the fuel filter.
IMPORTANT: Disconnected electrical connectors must be capped with the correct size plastic cap.
Protect connectors from dirt and humidity as this can cause an problems in engine control system.
6. MACHINES EQUIPPED WITH ETHER INJECTOR: Disconnect the nylon pipe from the nozzle
(4, Fig. 12.1) and secure to hood support.
