1. Drain the main frame as described in the OPERATOR’S MANUAL.

2. Remove the transmission case guard from bottom of machine.

WARNING! This procedure requires extreme caution. Use suitable blocking
equipment while under confines the machine.

3. Remove the ROPS, cab and platform. Refer to SECTION 13, SUPERSTRUCTURE.

4. Disconnect the breather hose (15, Fig. 7C.2) from the transmission (5).

5. Disconnect fan motor drain hose (8) from the cross located on the rear ROPS bracket.

6. Remove the equipment pump (1). Refer to SECTION 10A for removing procedure.

7. Disconnect the electrical harness (13) from the pressure switches (12) located on the range

selector valve (14) and remove pressure switches (12).

8. Remove hydraulic damper (9) mounted on the rear ROPS bracket.

9. Disconnect supply hose (10) from the pressure regulator valve (4). Disconnect torque

converter supply hose (6) from the pressure regulator valve (4).

10. Remove the hardware securing the range selector valve (14) and pressure regulator valve (4)

to the manifold (2) located on top of the transmission (5). Tie the valves (with hoses still
attached) up out of the way.
