Eluent Generator Setup for Carbonate Eluent

Follow the instructions in this section if you are installing a K

cartridge and an EGC CO

Mixer (for generating carbonate eluent).

If you are installing a KOH, LiOH, MSA, or NaOH EluGen cartridge
and a CR-TC, go to

cartridge, an EPM, and an EGC CO

Mixer (for generating carbonate/bicarbonate eluent), go to

Overview

The eluent generator setup procedure for carbonate eluent consists of the
following main steps:

•

Installing the EluGen cartridge and preparing for conditioning.

•

Conditioning the EluGen cartridge.

•

Installing the EGC CO

Mixer.

•

Filling the EGC CO

Mixer with the eluent concentration required for

the application.

•

Completing the eluent generator setup.
