Installation

●

Install the drum stopper arm collar, spring,
stopper arm, and bolt. Tighten the bolts.

Torque:1.2kgf-m(12N.m)

Inspection

●

Check the gear shift spindle for wear or
damage.

●

Inspect the gear shift plate for deformation,
wear, or other damage.

●

Check the return spring and gear shift plate
spring for wear or damage.

●

Press the stopper arm, and install the cam,
aligning the dowel pin with the gear shift hole.

●

Install the thrust washer into the gear shift
spindle.

●

Install the gear shift spindle into the crank
case, aligning the teeth of the return spring
with the tappet of the right crank case as
shown.
