3.1 Pulse Output Signals OUT and DIR
There are 8-axis pulse output signals on cPCI-8168. For every
axis, two pairs of OUT and DIR signals are used to send the pulse
train and to indicate the direction. The OUT and DIR signals can
also be programmed as CW and CCW signals pair. In this section,
the electronic characteristics of the OUT and DIR signals are
shown. Each signal consists of a pair of differential signals. For
example, the OUT2 is consistent of OUT2+ and OUT2- signals.
The following wiring diagram is for the OUT and DIR signals of the
8 axes.
