Signal Connections

3.6

Alarm Signal ALM

The alarm signal ALM is used to indicate the alarm status from the
servo driver. The relative signal name, pin number and axis num-
ber are shown in the following table.

The input circuit of alarm circuit is shown in the following diagram.
The ALM signals are usually from servomotor drivers, which usu-
ally provide open collector output signals. The external circuit must
provide at least 5 mA current sink capability to drive the ALM sig-
nal active.
