permeates the gas into a zero air stream (150 sccm nominally) that can 
subsequently be diluted to provide the desired span gas output. When the 
permeation oven is not being actively utilized, the nominal zero air stream 
through the permeation oven is maintained, in order to precisely regulate 
temperature, with a solenoid directing this standby flow to exhaust. 

Use the following procedure to install the permeation tube. 

1.

 

Lift oven cover up. 

2.

 

Lift and unlatch two oven cover handles.
