Calibration of the Ozone Generator

The ozonator calibration is a 10-point calibration starting at 28% drive
power up to 90% drive power. It is recommended that all 10 points be
calibrated to achieve optimal ozone generator performance. However,
selectively desired points can be calibrated as well.
4. Press ‘Start’ under the ‘Select Drive’ column for the desired drive % to
activate the setting (The cell turns yellow), and wait until the reference
photometer readings have stabilized before entering the concentration
in ppb under the ‘Enter O3 Concentration (ppb)’ column in the same
row (a wait time of less than 45 seconds is not accepted by the
instrument, longer wait times are recommended for a more stable
calibration). It is recommended that the external reference photometer
be set to a sufficiently long averaging time to obtain an optimal
calibration.
An alternate method to automatically calibrate the ozone generator with
the internal photometer is also available, if the internal photometer option
is available and enabled on the 146iQ. It is recommended that the internal
photometer be calibrated with a primary standard (as detailed in the
succeeding section on Photometer Calibration) prior to proceeding with
automatic ozone generator calibration. The procedure to calibrate the
ozone generator with the internal photometer is as follows:
