The Operation screen is used to modify the calibrator’s operational
settings. This is a powerful screen that allows the user to select the gas span
level, the ozonator level, and the photometer mode. Like the Home Screen,
if any of these options are not installed, then their controls are not
displayed on the operation screen.
Home Screen>Settings>Operation
The Operation screen contains the following information:

Operation: This column lists items associated with operation.

Setting: User modifies instrument operation.
●
Set Value: Displays concentration or flow setpoints.
●
Measured Value: Displays concentration or flow readings.
●
Units: Displays units for each item.

Gas: Allows selection of the gas. Supports up to six external gases
(Gas 1 through 6), GPT NO

(if ozonator is installed),
permeation gas, and Purge. The external gas names may be set
up/changed by the user via the cylinder setup screen. Note:
Defining the external gases is a prerequisite to the operation of the
MFCs.

Zero / Span: Displays zero/span selection (zero, span 1

span 6). The
instrument sets the flow parameters to meet the selected criteria.
For zero, the gas mass flow controller is shut off and a previously
determined zero air flow is output as set in the gas setup screen. For
Span 1

span 6, the zero and gas flow controllers are set to provide
the previously determined total flow and gas concentration.
