     146iQ Instruction Manual 

Thermo Scientific 

 

Use the following procedure to replace the MFCs. 

Equipment required: 

Phillips drive, #2 

Hex drive, 9/64 

Adjustable wrenches, qty 2 

1.

 

Turn instrument OFF, unplug power cord, and remove the cover 
(

Figure 2–1

). 

2.

 

Unplug desired MFC (as shown, top of MFC).

Using two Adjustable wrenches (one to hold fitting body and one to 
loosen the nut), disconnect desire MFC, plumbing 2X. 

4.

 

Using a #2 Phillips drive, unfasten captive hardware. 

5.

 

Slide towards the right, clearing the floor plate keyway.
