User Manual 1178.3370.02 ─ 03
Provides functions to import data.
See the R&S
FPL1000 I/Q Analyzer User Manual for more information.
Export
Access
: "Save/Recall" > Export
Opens a submenu to configure data export.
Export Trace to ASCII File ← Export
Opens a file selection dialog box and saves the selected trace in ASCII format (
.dat
)
to the specified file and directory.
The results are output in the same order as they are displayed on the screen: window
by window, trace by trace, and table row by table row.
If the spectrogram display is selected when you perform this function, the entire histo-
gram buffer with all frames is exported to a file. The data for a particular frame begins
with information about the frame number and the time that frame was recorded. For
large history buffers the export operation may take some time.
For details on the file format in the Spectrum application, see
ence: ASCII File Export Format"
Remote command:
Trace Export Configuration ← Export
Opens the "Traces" dialog box to configure the trace and data export settings.
I/Q Export ← Export
Opens a file selection dialog box to define an export file name to which the I/Q data is
stored. This function is only available in single sweep mode.
It is not available in the Spectrum application, only in applications that process I/Q
data, such as the I/Q Analyzer or optional applications.
For details, see the description in the R&S
FPL1000 I/Q Analyzer User Manual
("Importing and Exporting I/Q Data").
Note:
Storing large amounts of I/Q data (several Gigabytes) can exceed the available
(internal) storage space on the R&S
FPL1000. In this case, it can be necessary to use
an external storage medium.

tings
