Reference level Z (optional, device-dependent)

Here, you can enter the distance between the surface of the

SmartGrid

and the reference level (contact

surface) during calibration of the distortion correction.

The setting is required if Z calibration is to be used with coordinates at different heights or planes (Z) in the
depth of field. A reference plane may be, for example, the machine table and facilitates the handling of the
various Z-levels. If the

SmartGrid

is on the machine table, then the value corresponds to the thickness of the

SmartGrid

(e.g. 3 mm for a finished

SmartGrid

).
