6.3. Getting Started
Launch the WorldCast Codec Management System application. You will find the program located in the Start
Menu under Program

WorldCast Codec Management System.
Start the program and you will be prompted to log in:
CMS Log-In:
There are three levels
of
access
to
the
WorldCast
Codec
Management System:
(note the current
CMS release number
– higher releases
may have slightly
different views)
Administrator
: Allows full access to all features and controls of the WorldCast Codec Man-
agement System.
Normal
: Allows viewing access to the settings and logs and allows you to set up and clear
down IP connections.
Read Only
: Allows viewing access only to the settings and logs. The Read Only account is not
able to add to or remove devices from the network. This account also allows no changes to con-
figurations or settings.
All accounts, the Administrator, Normal and Read Only, require Username and Password login. When shipped,
only an Administrator account is set with a default login. We recommended that you change the Administrator
login as soon as possible.

Once you have logged in successfully the Main Screen of the WorldCast Codec Management System (the
WorldCast Family Tree) will appear:
