6.5. System Setup

System Setup
Folders button

Clicking on the “Sys” button opens the System Setup folder which provides a set
of configuration tabs. These configurations are related to both the status and
basic settings of the unit.

As described in the chapter above, double click on the WorldCast Equinox image that you want to config-
ure on the Family Tree.

The System Setup folder is accessed by simply clicking on the Sys icon at the bottom of the screen.

Selected system Setup folder. By default the Status tab is presented first.

6.5.1. Sys - Status

The Status page provides information on Card Revision number, Card Serial Number and Xil version of the se-
lected WorldCast Equinox. This page is for information only.

Status Information screen

Note that “PSU 1”, “PSU 2” and “Fan 2 stall” will only appear if a 2

nd

PSU is fitted.

The fan speed is related to the temperature of the unit. So if the unit heats up then the speed of the fan
(and therefore the amount of air being passed through it) will increase.
