The Main Setup ISDN menu allows you to configure the ISDN speed dials. This menu enables access to the
ISDN configuration options.

Setup ISDN Directory
An ISDN speed dial defines all of the information needed to set up an audio over ISDN connection to a remote
codec
– ISDN telephone numbers, audio profile etc.. It is possible to configure up to 256 speed dials.

On selecting this option you are presented with a list of the current ISDN speed dials. To edit an existing entry
use the or keys to scroll to the relevant entry and press

. To create a new profile simply select any en-
try labeled
Free
and press
Ent
. The following sub menu is presented: -

Overtype the displayed information using the keypad to enter alphanumeric characters (see section 4.4.1 Key-
pad). Press
Ent
to save the new name when finished.
Next associate an audio profile with the ISDN speed dial. By doing this whenever the unit needs to make an
ISDN connection it will know what algorithm, data rate and mode to use. Choose an Audio Profile from the list.
