When FEC and media packets arrive in the receiving equipment, they are again buffered for
use in FEC media packet recovery scheme. The figure below shows the worse case packet loss
pattern within one frame that could be fixed with a 5×5 FEC scheme. 5 media packets are lost
in one network burst error.
