– ISDN Speed Dials
Clicking on the ISDN Speed Dials tab allows you to maintain the list of ISDN speed dials. An ISDN speed dial
consists of a group of ISDN telephone numbers associated with an audio profile. You can specify a connection
to a remote codec using only the ISDN speed dial
– the WorldCast Equinox has all of the information it requires
to make the connection. This screen allows you to add, edit and delete ISDN speed dials. It also allows you to
select an ISDN speed dial and initiate a connection to a remote codec. It is possible to configure up to 256
speed dials.
ISDN speed dials
Begin by entering the number of the chosen speed dial - you can use the
and
buttons to sequence up
and down the list.
To add a new entry find an empty entry in the profile list
– it will have no name, no audio profile and no ISDN
numbers. Enter a name for the speed dial
– this name will be used elsewhere so it is preferable to use a mean-
ingful name. Select an audio profile to associate with the entry from the drop down list. If you need to enter a
new audio profile please refer to section 6.6.3 Audio Profiles.
Selecting an audio profile
Enter the ISDN telephone numbers for each channel that you need to connect
– if you leave an entry blank
then no call will be made on that channel. You will be prompted for the correct number of entries based on the
audio profile selected.
