Keypad functionality

4.4.2. Indicators and Displays

Audio level indicators

The front panel audio level indicators display levels for both audio IN and audio OUT and for both Left and
Right channels.

Power Indicator

The Power indicator LED is lit when power is applied to the WorldCast Equinox.

Alarm Indicator

The Alarm indicator LED is lit when an alarm condition exists. There are a number of alarm condition which can
be enabled on the WorldCast Equinox

– see section 4.6.3 Alarms for more information.

Connected indicator

The Connected LED shows the presence of a connection in either X21, ISDN or IP. It is green when the
Equinox is connected to another unit

Headphone socket and selector switch

A 6.3mm jack socket is provided for audio monitoring headset. It is possible to monitor either the audio input or
audio output

– selected by pressing the small selector switch beside the jack socket.
