Choosing an IP speed dial
On selecting this option you are presented with a list of IP speed dials. To edit and existing entry use the
or
keys to scroll to the chosen entry and press
Ent
. To create a new profile simply choose any entry labeled
Free
and press
Ent
. The following sub menu is presented: -
Entering an IP speed dial name
Overtype the displayed information using the keypad to enter alphanumeric characters (see section 4.4.1 Key-
pad). Press
Ent
to save the new name when finished.
Begin by selecting an audio profile to use with this IP speed dial. By doing this whenever the unit needs to
make an IP connection it will know which codec, data rate and mode to use. You will be presented with a list of
audio profiles. Use the or keys to scroll through the list and press
Ent
to select the profile you want to use.
Configuring IP receiver buffer
Next you must choose a port number. Use the or keys to scroll through the range of port numbers or enter
the port number manually. Press
Ent
when the required port is displayed.

Note:
When connecting to an APT Tokyo codec you must use port 5004 on the Equinox. Note that
you must also set the Equinox to be connecting using 3
rd
Party hardware instead of APT.
