Firmware Update Manager

Clicking  on  the  “Firmware  Update  Manager”  button  allows  you  to  manage  the
firmware update of one or more Codecs in a centralized way. The Firmware Up-
date  Manager  will  provide  advice  comparing  the  firmware  currently  installed  in
the codecs of the Tree view to the firmware package that you have selected for
the update.

Clicking on the Firmware Update Manager button opens the following window:

Note

that it is recommended that only units of the same type are upgraded at the same time.

1. In Select Firmware, select the System Release file that corresponds to the System Release

you want to install on the units of your network.

Note that it will warn the user if there is an active connection in progress or if the unit is not in

standby (the firmware update can proceed anyway).

2. Remove or add codecs into the list of units to upgrade, using the buttons and controls at the

bottom of the window and click Next when you are finished:
