6.6.3. Audio - Audio Profiles
Clicking on the Audio Profiles tab allows you to maintain the list of audio profiles. An audio profile consists of an
algorithm, a bitrate and mode (stereo or mono). You can link an audio profile to the IP and ISDN speed dials to
specify the codec, bitrate and mode you will be using in the connection. This screen allows you to add, edit and
delete audio profiles. You can use up to 25 audio profiles.
Selecting an audio profile
Begin by entering the number of the chosen audio profile. You can use the
and
buttons to sequence up
and down the list.
To add a new entry find an empty entry in the profile list
– it will have no name, no algorithm and no rate. Enter
a name for the audio profile at the Description field
– this name will be used in the speed dials so it is prefera-
ble to use a meaningful name. Select an algorithm from the drop down list.
Selecting an algorithm
Select a bitrate and mode from the drop down list. The entries in the drop down list vary depending on the
algorithm selected.
