Four LEDs indicate the state of the 2 ISDN lines. LED B1 and B2 indicate the status of ISDN Line 1, B3 and
B4 the status of ISDN Line 2. When an ISDN line is connected to the network the associated channel LEDs will
show Red. When a call is active on one of the ISDN lines the associated channel LED will show Green. If an
ISDN line is not connected or has failed to initialize with the network the associated LED will be not be illumi-
nated.
Note
: If you are using a North American ISDN Protocol a Red LED will indicate that SPID (

entifier) has correctly initialized with the network
4.4.3. ISDN/IP/SIP Fast Dial (FD0 and FD1 only)
This feature enables an extremely fast call setup for two regularly used or priority destinations. These must be
programmed in ISDN or IP speed dial locations 0 and 1. A single touch of key FD0 or FD1 initiates the fast call
sequence for either of these two locations. The unit will be configured according to the ISDN or IP speed dial
which will specify the ISDN numbers to dial or IP Address to use, and the audio profile to use.
4.5. Rear Panel Connectors
The WorldCast Equinox should be completely wired before placing the circuit into service. The WorldCast
Equinox comes pre-configured ready to run back-to-back test loops.
