Pressing „OK‟ will initiate the duplex connection.
In order for the connection to proceed, the following settings must be the same on the 2 units involved in
the duplex call:
1) IP port
2) Algorithm
3) Bit rate
4) Sample rate and mode (MPEG only)
5) Units are both in IP
6) Units are not already in a call
Note also that backup mode has not been provisioned for.
Units must also be pointing to one another (IP address). IP settings can be applied to the units by press-
ing this button:
Note:
If the audio profile is changed by the user and in doing so, also changes the packet/latency
settings to values to suit, this would then make the "old profile" invalid for transmitting then the unit
will attempt to connect using these settings but will not carry audio.
