2.2.45 134317734 ODU link broken

Alarm Property

Alarm Code: 134317734

Alarm Information: The alarm is reported if an ODU link fails to be set up or an ODU

link is broken.

Alarm Level: Critical

Alarm Type: Communications Alarm

Sub-code Description

None

Effect on the System

In the protection mode, if the active ODU link is broken, the system performs active/standby

link changeover. In the no-protection mode, if the active ODU link is broken, the service is

interrupted.

Possible Causes

The ODU is not powered on.

The RMU board of IDU is faulty.

The ODU is faulty.

Handling Procedure

Check whether the power supply to the ODU is normal (40 V ~ 60 V).

If yes, go to step 2.

If no, remove the fault.

Check whether the IF cable is in good condition, and the IF cable connectors are made

properly.

If yes, go to step 3.

If no, remove the IF faults.

Replace the RMU board. If the alarm persists, replace the ODU.
