Alarm Information: The alarm is reported if link fault is detected at the local end.

Alarm Level: Critical

Alarm Type: Communications Alarm

Sub-code Description

Sub-code 1: Link signal lost at the remote end;

Sub-code 2: Unpredictable event, such as power cutoff;

Sub-code 3: Undefined critical event.

Effect on the System

If the local link is faulty, the service at the port may be disconnected.

Possible Causes

The local end detects link fault.

Check the LMT or panel status for the physical connections of the local optical port.
