Possible Causes
The uplink optical port service degrades and causes the UAS to occur.
Handling Procedure
1.
Check whether the receive power and transmit power of the optical module are normal.

If yes, go to step 2.
l
If no, replace the optical module and ensure that the uplink equipment operates
properly.

Replace RTUB.

The regenerator section signal is lost.
The receive port cannot detect the optical power. The optical power is too low or too
high, which leads to BER less than 10

Sub-code 1: Optical port 1 on the RTUB board;

Sub-code 2: Optical port 2 on the RTUB board.
Effect on the System
Signals carried by fiber are interrupted. This may interrupt the traffic of the optical port.
Possible Causes
The optical does not have input signal.
Handling Procedure
1.
Select
TDM > Laser
, enable the optical module and ensure that the optical module of
the upstream signal source equipment is enabled
2.
Check whether the signals over the transmitting link attenuate too much or the optical
fiber breaks.

If yes, replace the optical fiber.
l
If no, go to step 3.
3.
Replace the board.
