ZXMW NR8250 Alarm and Notification Handling Reference
Effect on the System
The system clock cannot lock the reference clock source. This affects the SDH, E1, and
ETH traffic, causing service error code or service interruption.
Possible Causes
The equipment fails to detect the external clock source.
Handling Procedure
Take measures based on the clock reference source:
1.
For the RCUB 1PPS+TOD clock reference and RCUB BITS clock reference, ensure
that clock signals are input to the CLK IN interface on the RCUB panel and that clock
cable is connected properly and undamaged. If the alarm persists, replace the faulty
RCU board;
2.
For the SDH or E1 clock reference, ensure that cables (E1 cable or fiber) are properly
connected to the corresponding ports on the IDU panel. If the alarm persists, replace
the faulty RTU board;
3.
For the air interface clock reference, ensure that the radio link is locked, that is, the
LINK indicator on the RMUB board is lit. If the alarm persists, replace the faulty RMU
board;
4.
For the SyncE or 1588 clock, ensure that the GbE ports on RCUB/RTUN/RTUH
board are connected with proper cables. If the alarm persists, replace the faulty
RCUB/RTUN/RTUH board;
