ZXMW NR8250 Alarm and Notification Handling Reference

Handling Procedure

For sub-code 1, correctly configure the XPIC function on the client.

For sub-code 2, ensure that the pair of RMUCs each of which is configured with the

XPIC function use the same bandwidth.

For sub-code 3, ensure that the two RMUCs with the XPIC function enables use a

bandwidth higher than 28 M.

For sub-codes 4 and 5, replace the board hardware based on the alarm information.

For sub-code 6, check the XPIC hardware connection and ensure that the XPD value

is greater than 25 dB.

For sub-code 7, modify the ODU frequency and ensure that the pair of RMUCs each

of which is configured with the XPIC function use the same ODU frequency.

Ensure that the two RMUC boards of an XPIC group use the same bandwidth.

Alarm Information: The alarm is reported when the -48V power supply of ODU is

abnormal or lost.

Alarm Level: Critical

Effect on the System

If the power supply of ODU is abnormal, the power supply of RMU also becomes abnormal,

and the problems of error codes or service interruption will occur.

Possible Causes

The hardware of power supply is faulty or the power supply is abnormal.

Handling Procedure

Check whether the power supply is normal.

If yes, go to step 2.

If no, remove the power fault.

Replace the ODU power module.
