Connection of Other Devices to the TLR 303 Front
Panel
If you are connecting a CAN 8+8 relay box to the TLR 303 front panel it will
connect via one of the unit’s DB 15 connectors to the
CAN
port on the relay box.
In this situation, the relay box is the last device in the signal chain and is already
terminated, so it is not necessary to terminate the DB 15 connection that is
connecting the TLR 303 to the TLR 300 codec. It is only necessary to terminate
the last device in the signal chain. Following is an example of this sort of
configuration.
TLR 300 CAN to TLR
303 DB 15 interface
cable without 120
Ω
terminator wiring.
TLR 303 DB 15 to
CAN 8+8 interface cable
Includes 120
Ω
terminator – the CAN
8+8 relay box has the
terminator fitted
internally.
