GSM LL/GSM/USB-3G
This menu allows users to configure GSM connection settings within
T
ieline
codecs.
(Please note: Even if you don’t have
Tool
Box
software connected to your codec,
these functions are available by accessing your codec menu via
SOFTKEY 4 Menu
.
Next select
Configuration
and select the GSM/3G or POTS (GSM landline)
connection you wish to configure. Now scroll through the menu and adjust the
settings you wish to change. See the Configuration menu diagram for details of this
menu structure.)
The
GSM Landline
section includes setup functions for a codec which is receiving a
call from a codec with a GSM module or cell-phone in use. The
GSM Module/USB-
3G Module/Cellphone
section includes setup functions for a codec that is connecting
using a USB, 3G or GSM module or a cell-phone. The
GSM CSD/HSCSD Settings
section programs GSM settings. The other sections are specific to 3G connections
and are explained in detail within the “IP & 3GIP Streaming Reference Manual”.

GSM plug-in modules cannot be used in TLR300B

codecs. If you must connect using GSM with aTLR300B
COMMANDER

3
rack
unit codec, we suggest you use a GSM cell-phone attached to the RS232 port on the
rear panel of the codec. Alternatively, you could try a GSM phone or a 3G cell-phone
in GSM mode with a
T
ieline
USB module.

When you insert a GSM module into your

codec you will notice that the GSM
connection will appear in the list of available connections on the connection
LCD
