Disposal in Accordance with Environmental Regulations
• Because the X
TRA
System must be regarded as potentially infectious after it is finished with, it
must not be disposed of in accordance with the EU Directive 2002 96 EC WEEE or its German
derivative ElektroG.
• All disposables used in conjunction with the X
TRA
System must be disposed of in accordance with
the local and environmental regulations. Observe hospital regulations when disposing of these
items.
• Exchanged batteries of the X
TRA
System are considered hazardous waste and must be disposed of
in accordance with the environmental protection regulations. The authorized service technician
will replace the batteries every three years but the user of the X
TRA
System is responsible for their
disposal.
