License Keys
The License Keys page allows you to add a license key to the DXi8500
to enable new functionality. You can also view a list of available licenses
and see the licenses that are installed on the system.
For DXi8500 systems configured with all 3TB hard drives that support
Self Encrypting Drive (SED) technology, you can add a license for Data-
at-Rest Encryption. Adding this license also requires uploading one or
more Premium Feature Key (PFK) files to the DXi. For more information,
see Licensing Data-at-Rest Encryption and Obtaining Premium Feature
Keys on page 442.
To access the License Keys page, click the Utilities menu, and then click
the
License Keys
tab (see Figure 246 ).

Use the License Keys page to perform the following tasks:
• View information about available and installed licenses (see License
Key Information on page 439).
• Add a license key (see Adding a License Key on page 440).
• License the Data-at-Rest Encryption feature ( Licensing Data-at-Rest
Encryption and Obtaining Premium Feature Keys on page 442).
