DXi8500 Remote
Management
The Quantum DXi8500 provides a powerful Web-based user interface
that allows you to configure and manage the system from a remote
workstation on the same network as the DXi8500.
Use the DXi8500 remote management console to perform the following
tasks:
• Set up the DXi8500 using guided procedures (see DXi8500
Configuration Wizards on page 111).
• View important system information at a glance (see DXi8500 Home
Page on page 153).
• Manage data replication activities (see DXi8500 Replication on
page 165).
• Monitor hardware status and system performance (see DXi8500
Status on page 223).
• View administration alerts and resolve service tickets (see DXi8500
Alerts on page 253).
• Configure storage presentation, data replication, and system
settings (see DXi8500 Configuration on page 263).
• Run diagnostic tools and maintain the system (see DXi8500 Utilities
on page 423).
