The
Kermit Parameters
dialog is displayed by clicking the
Kermit...
button in the
Initiate File Transfer
dialog. This enables you to set
parameters specific to the Kermit protocol.
You can save the settings so that they are reasserted the next time
you run the file transfer utility by selecting the
Save Settings
option
then clicking the
OK
button.
Most of the settings in this dialog affect how outbound and inbound
packets are treated. These settings may need to be reflected by the
remote Kermit as well.
Start of Packet
Factory default: CTRL-A (i.e. SOH)
This specifies the character which is used to mark the start of a Ker-
mit packet. The character should be changed if the remote host inter-
cepts it.
