Keyboard Mapping
PRINTING
indicates that data is being sent to the printer.
SENDING
indicates that data is being sent to the host.
WRONG PLACE
appears when you press an invalid key in a
protected field or field attribute character position. It is
also displayed when you try to insert a character or line in
a screen already full when the
Forcing Insert
option is set
to
Off
.
If two or more messages are sent to a particular field, then the mes-
sage with the highest priority will be displayed. Messages in field

are displayed in the following order:
HOLD SCREEN
SENDING
PRINTING
KEYS LOCKED
INVALID KEY
WRONG PLACE
NUMERIC
Keyboard Mapping
The illustration on the following page shows where IBM 3151 key-
board functions are mapped to keys on the 101/102 key Enhanced
AT keyboard layout.
Special key functions that are provided on the IBM 3151 keyboard
can be mapped to any key on your keyboard by using the virtual key
names listed in the
Define Keyboard Macros
dialog. This dialog is
displayed by selecting
Keyboard Macros...
in the
Settings
menu.
Refer to the section “Define Keyboard Macros” on page 242 for
details.
