IBM 5250 Emulation
Creating an IBM 5250 Emulation Session 317
A TeemTalk session with the name specified in step 2 will be
created and listed in the
Start
>
Programs
menu under
Neoware
TeemTalk
. A shortcut icon will also be created on the desktop if
requested.
The IBM 5250 emulation is configured using the
IBM 5250 Settings
dialog. This is displayed in the TeemTalk emulator window by
selecting
IBM 5250...
in the
Settings
menu. Refer to the section
“IBM 5250 Settings” on page 184 for details.
Using the TeemTalk
Emulator Window
This section describes the basic procedure for creating an IBM 5250
emulation session from the TeemTalk emulator window.
1 Display the
Settings
menu from the menu bar and select
Emula-
tion...
to display the
Emulation Settings
dialog.
2 Select
IBM 5250
in the
Alpha Emulation
list box, then click
OK
.

Display the
Settings
menu again and select
IBM 5250...
to
display the
IBM 5250 Settings
dialog.

Select the required
IBM 5250 Model
. (Note that not all features
of the specified terminal may be supported.)
