The TeemTalk Window Display
Refer to the chapter “Setup Menus” on page 113 for a complete
description of all the menu options.
The Toolbar
The toolbar displays a series of buttons that provide a quick way of
actioning commands or displaying setup dialogs when clicked.
You can redefine all the buttons and add or remove buttons from the
toolbar. Refer to the chapter “The Toolbar” on page 107 for a com-
plete description.
The Emulation
Workspace
The emulation workspace is the TeemTalk window area providing
the terminal emulation display.
Hotspots
A hotspot facility is provided which enables you to invoke a
function by clicking on a keyword displayed in the emulation
workspace. For example, an application may display information
relating to keys you can press to perform a particular function.
Instead of pressing the key on the keyboard, you could invoke the
function by holding down the
Control
key and clicking the mouse
pointer on the key name on the display (assuming default mouse
configuration). You can also define your own hotspots using the
Hotspot Editor
. Refer to the chapter “Hotspots” on page 103 for
more details.
The Soft Buttons
A set of programmable soft buttons can be displayed along the
bottom of the emulator window.
There are four soft button levels. Each level consists of twelve pro-
grammable buttons, providing a combined total of 48 programmable
buttons. You can display all four levels at the same time if required.
All levels are accessible even if not all are displayed, levels stored
off-screen can be 'scrolled' into view by clicking the
Level
button.
