an error occurs because the message will take longer to get through
to the sender due to the amount of data still waiting on the network.
This option enables you to overcome the problem by limiting the
amount of data that is stored on the network before waiting for an
acknowledgement from the receiver. The window size relates to the
network area taken up by the transfer data. A setting of
0 (zero)
specifies that the window size is unlimited. Any other numeric value
entered here will be rounded to 256 bytes or the nearest multiple of
64 if higher.
Escape Control Codes
Factory default: Unchecked
The setting of this option determines whether control codes are sent
on their own (default) or preceded by the escape code
CTRL X .
The escape code prevents problems caused by the removal of control
codes during transmission. When this option is selected, control
codes are sent as readable characters preceded by
CTRL X .
