TCP/IP Connection Settings
Connection Wizard
To specify a TCP/IP host connection in the Connection Wizard
Host
Information
dialog, click the
TCP/IP
button, select
Telnet
in the list
box next to it, then enter the name or internet address of the host
computer in the
Host Name
box.
Selecting the
Host Rollover On Connection Fail
option will present
four
Host Name
entry boxes. Specifying more than one host will
enable TeemTalk to attempt to connect to each host in turn until one
is successful. You can specify the connection timeout in the
TCP/IP
Telnet Configuration
dialog.
Clicking the
Advanced
button will display the
TCP/IP Telnet Con-
figuration
dialog. (Note that this button is only enabled when a
Host
Name
has been specified.)
Emulator Window
To specify a TCP/IP host connection in the TeemTalk emulator win-
dow, select
New Connection
in the
File
menu, set the
Type
option to
TCP/IP
, then specify the host that TeemTalk is to connect to in the
Connect To
box.
Clicking the
Telnet Options
button will display the
Telnet Options
dialog. (Note that this button is only enabled when a host has been
specified in the
Connect To
box.)
